I’ve been dealing with repeated fake copyright strikes for over 6 years, and in this video I break down what’s been happening and how to report it properly to YouTube. If you’re getting suspicious claims (like emails similar to taketwo@ip.ebrand.com
), don’t ignore it — you need to take the right steps to protect your channel.
Here’s how to report it as abuse on YouTube:
Go to YouTube Studio → Content → find the affected video
Click Restrictions → Copyright and open the claim details
If it’s clearly false, use the Dispute option and explain why the claim is invalid
If the strike continues or looks abusive, go to YouTube Help → Contact Us → Copyright issues
Submit details explaining repeated false claims and include any evidence (emails, screenshots, patterns)
