Rockstar North’s Head of Development, Rob Nelson, confirmed in an interview that fishing in GTA 6 will feature a catch-and-release system, meaning you won’t be keeping the fish you catch. Tez2 shared the information, citing Nelson’s interview with TGG, and also noted that the fishing is reportedly as in-depth as Red Dead Redemption 2.
