GTA 6 Might Punish You For Playing Like GTA 5. GTA 6 may be doing something very different from GTA 5. Instead of making everything faster, easier and more convenient, Rockstar could be deliberately adding more friction to make Leonida feel more immersive and memorable.
In this video, we look at how GTA 6 could change car theft, weapon loadouts, police escapes, money progression, vehicle damage, exploration, map markers and fast travel compared with GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
The theory is simple: GTA 5 gave players incredible freedom, but when cars, weapons, money and escapes become too easy, they can also start feeling disposable.
GTA 6 could keep the freedom of GTA while borrowing some of Red Dead Redemption 2’s slower design philosophy, where preparation, travel and consequences actually matter.
Could Rockstar be intentionally making GTA 6 less convenient to make every decision feel more important?
