What if GTA 6’s biggest upgrade is not what Rockstar added… but what they removed?
In this video, I break down why GTA 6 could feel more advanced by cutting back on some of the arcade-style conveniences we had in GTA 5. From carrying fewer weapons at once and storing larger guns in vehicles, to less visible police information, more involved vehicle theft, reduced HUD clutter, and fewer instant shortcuts, Rockstar seems to be pushing GTA toward a more immersive style of gameplay.
Instead of giving players every weapon, every police location, and instant access to everything, GTA 6 may force us to actually think, prepare, and pay attention to the world around us.
Could subtraction actually be Rockstar’s smartest innovation with GTA 6?
